He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Ducey and Bridget Ducey (McGettigan). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ducey (Lydon); his children, Peggy Downey (Alan), Joan Wetzler (Rich), James Ducey (Acelina), John Ducey (Marguerite) and Kathy Perrone (Anthony); his grandchildren, Katherine, Corinne, Megan, Samantha, Theresa, Michael, Kevin, Joseph, Niamh, Aidan, Moira, Beatrice and Liam; his siblings, Bridget Theresa Healy and Michael Ducey; and his siblings-in-law, Beatrice Mitchell, Michael, Padraig and Peter Lydon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation Service (2507 Hwy 44 W, Inverness, FL 34453). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Scholastica Church (4301 W Homosassa Trail, Lecanto, FL 34461). A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calendar Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
