With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James B. Lloyd C. S. P. (New York, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may James find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Lloyd (Rosenbloom) and Helen McArdle Lloyd; and his sister Maurica "Marie" Lloyd Byrne. He is survived by : his brother Paulists. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces; and many friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (405 W 59th St, New York, NY 10019). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Cathedral.
