She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Witham and James Oliver Thurston; her siblings, James Frederick Thurston (late Margie Bissel Thurston) and Louise Mae Thurston; her sister-in-law Judy Thurston; her nephew Brad Thurston; and her niece Cynthia Thurston DuBose.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Thurston Padgett of Gaston, SC and Ronald Thurston of St. Augustine, FL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great, and great-great nieces and nephews.
