Though Luisa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Luisa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Domingo Freytes and Rufina Concepcion. She is survived by : her children, Antonio (Damaris), Judith and Wilma; and her grandchildren, Lisa and Jesse. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Provenzano Lanza Funeral Home (43 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (414 E 14th St, New York, NY 10009). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Saint Raymond's Cemetery (2600 Lafayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10465).
