It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell McGuire of New York, New York, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Mildred Casserly and James Edward McGuire; and his siblings, Dianne Kenealy (McGuire) and James "Jim" McGuire. He is survived by: his former wife Lynne Johnston of Petoskey, Michigan.; his close friends, Flo Ankah, Monika Rynkiewicz, Robin Bobbé and Sallyann Swarm; his wife Cathryn Williams; his children, Katie McGuire of Los Angeles, Brendan McGuire of Oakland, CA, Michael McGuire (Jill) of Grayling, MI, Kelli Blaser (Kerry) of Palm Bay, FL and Lauri Norris (Scott) of Traverse City, MI; his grandchildren, Shana, Bobby, Leah, Gabe, Courtney and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Caiden, Connor, Faith, Vayda, Mable, Violet, Tobey, Jacob, Ensley and Ember.
