She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank E. Chapman and Lena E. Chapman (Clay); her son Richard DeMers; and her grandson Zachary DeRidder. She is survived by: her husband Leo J. DeMers; her children, Michelle DeRidder (Peter) of Lyons, NY, Carol DeMers of Kingston, NY, Lynn DeMers of Tivoli, NY and Michael DeMers (Judith) of South River, NJ; and her sister Joan Lee Fortner. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; along with extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the World Vision or the American Cancer Society.
