He was predeceased by: his father Wilson Marin. He is survived by: his mother Georgina Nieto Marin; his wife Ana Nieto Flores; his daughter Priscilla Stephanie Nieto (Matthew); and his siblings, Paulina, Apolonia, Paul, Paola, Milton, Ivan (Miriam), Miriam, Brandon, Bradley, Brennan and Giovanni.

He died due to complications with COVID-19 at Newark Beth Israel Hospital.
