He was predeceased by: his sibling Carlos Manuel; his spouse Evelia Ramona Fernandez; and his brother Joaquin Fernandez. He is survived by: his siblings, Angela Fernandez and Oriente Cuba; his daughters, Angela Mercedes Fernandez of Manhattan and Catherine Isabel Fernandez of Maybrook; and his brother Sidney Fernandez of Cuba. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
