He is survived by: his fiancé Carmen Randolph; his daughter Simone Copes; his grandchildren, Tony Copes, Matykà Knox and Nàjee Smith; his great grandchildren, Nia and Amani Jennings; his brother Clinton Copes (Darlene); his sibling's children, Torian and Tabara Copes; his grandchild Krishna Collins; his great grandchildren, Ajanae Forman, King McCray, Chianti Irving and Christian Irving; his niece Patricia Copes; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shaquana, Demetris, Latoya Copes and Ciltona Cawthorne; and also Ebony. He is also survived by the oldest of four brothers.
