It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christel W. Brooks (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Heinrich Plogsties and Luise Plogsties (Pietsch); her husband John R. Brooks of Poland; and her sons, Walter Brooks (Debra), Daniel Brooks (Debra), Roy Brooks (Anita), Brian Brooks (Linda) and Kevin Brooks (Celeste). She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.
