It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constance J. Hagar (Newburgh, New York), born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis Edwards and Jane Edwards; her former spouse Senator Richard E Schermerhorn; her husband Benjamin Hagar; her siblings, Virginia Tosko (Thomas) and Warren Edwards (Donna); and her daughters, Lynda Schermerhorn Finn (Kevin), Kathleen Schermerhorn Agrawal (Andy), Amy Schermerhorn Duchesneau (David) and Kelly Schermerhorn Shafer (Glenn). She was also cherished by her 10 grandchildren, 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
