He was predeceased by: his parent Lawrence Rehrey; his wife Joyce; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Robert and Lawrence.
He is survived by: his parent Mable Rehrey (Greenwood); his children, Shawn T., Donald E. Rehrey Jr and Eydie Mae Rehrey of Newburgh; his sisters, Mabel Gordon of Kannapolis, NC and Clara Davidowski of Elmira, NY; and his siblings-in-law, Glenna Rizzo of Middletown and Brett Baisley of Newburgh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
