He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Mazzarelli and Helen Mazzarelli (Simpson); his wife Nickie Mazzarelli (Gironda); and his sister Frances Wiseman (Skip). He is survived by: his former spouse Nicolina Gironda (Nickie); his daughter Lisa Wendel (Richard) of Wallkill, NY; his grandchildren, Richard Jr., Nicole and Lauren (Andrew) of Tampa, FL.; his children, Gina Mazzarelli (Larry Rothstein) of New Windsor, NY and Mark Mazzarelli (Tami) of Newburgh, NY; his grandsons, Zachary (Samantha), Jack Ryan and Alex; his nephews, Gus Siko (Laura) of Highland, NY, Deserine Allen of Walden, NY and JeanMarie Tigar of Newburgh, NY; and his pets, Tuxedo and Curiosity. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with more extend family members and loving and caring friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Memorial Sloan Kettering.
