It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Felicita Romero (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on July 17, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Secundo Alvarado and Maria Transito Romero; her siblings, Pedro, Mina, Maura and Francisca; her son Oscar "Coca"; and her grandson Carlos Cruz.
She is survived by: her children, Haydee Flores (Oscar), Elisabeth Hernandez, Marta Hernandez (Umberto), Nelson Romero (Melin), Walter Romero, Lourdes Ferrera-Romero and Jessica Sabillion (Javier); her grandchildren, Vanessa Flores, Sara, Oscar, Judy Hernandez, Biany, Peggy, Jennifer Peralta, Pavel, Javier Galo, Edgardo, Marjorie, Jessica, Jackie, Nelson Romero, Nebil Palma, Gabriel, Genesis, Gabriella Romero, David Ferrera, Pamela, Carlos Velasquez, Axcell, Ashley and Isabella Sabillon; her great grandchildren, Sergio, Cesar, Diego, Gerado, Ruby, Daniel, Crystal, Ricardo, Priscilla, Emma, Ariana, Carlos, Carolina, Nicolle, Jade, Stephanie, Noemi, Samuel, Nashlay, Ethan, Penelope, Liam, Pavel, Andrea and Ava; her great great grandchildren, Elijah and Elena; and her siblings, Candido, Carmen, Juana and Gilberto. She is also survived by 7 children, 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
