He is survived by: his wife Janet (Mack); his sons, George III, Richard of East Worcester, Stephen (Justine) and Paul (Sherri); and his siblings, Dudley of Hopewell Junction, NY and Ellen Young of Binghamton, NY.. He is also survived by six granddaughters, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East Worcester Fire House and Emergency Squad, Worcester Fire House and Emergency Squad, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
