He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Sr. Winters and Louella Wilson Winters. He is survived by: his sons, George J. Winters III of South Beach, FL and Paul Winters (Jennifer) of Kingston, NY; his granddaughter Madelyn Winters (Christine Olazagasti) of Jensen Beach, FL.; his siblings, Susan DuBois (David) of Hurley, Edward Winters (Cathy) of Duanesburg, Christopher (Pam) of High Falls and John Winters of Gardiner; and his close friend Dotty Centalazano of Newburgh. He is also survived by four cousins and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donating to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
