He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eichholtz and Genevieve Dayton; his stepson Frederick Arthurs Jr.; and his brother James Lent. He is survived by: his wife P. Eileen Gardner; his daughters, Kathy Gardner of Modena, NY, Genevieve Richardson (Shane) of Lady Lake, FL, Christine Zauner (John) of Wallkill, NY and Michelle Gardner of Pine Bush, NY; his stepdaughters, Terri Arthurs of Newburgh, NY and Vicki Martinez (Steve) of Wallkill, NY; and his sisters, Barbara Odendahl (John) of Bloomingburg, NY and Ruth Lent. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial donation in lieu of flowers in George Gardner's name may be made to the Humane Society of Walden.
