It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Mallory of Newburgh, New York, born in Wappingers Falls, New York, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Mallory Sr. and Lucille Mallory; her brother David Mallory; her sister-in-law Wilma Mallory; her siblings, Janet Mallory, Russell Mallory and Barbara Mallory; and her grandson Demaris McGuire.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Mallory, Cynthia Mallory, Michael McGuire (Joanne Stevens), Kim McGuire-Fitzgerald (Dennie Fitzgerald), Tammy McGuire-Spooner, Tara Melvin (Tanisha Melvin) and Marchietta Green; her grandchildren, Omeka Mallory, Odasia Ricks, Jamar Mallory, Gloria Miller, Qwaneisha Hamilton, Zahajah McGuire, Aiden Barthelus, Oscar Spooner, Moses Khan, Qaadir Smith and Ghamani Melvin; and her siblings, Darlene Mallory and Jimmy Mallory. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Memorial visitation will be held privately for immediate family on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Due to Covid-19, services will be private; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
