He was predeceased by: his parents, William Amaro and Marguerite Amaro (DeCrosta); and his brother-in-law Michael Vasile. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Amaro (Vasile); his children, William Amaro (Patricia) of Port St, Lorraine Gamma (Mark) of Wallkill and Christine Mandoske (Scott) of Newburgh; his siblings-in-law, Dennis and Maria Vasile of Newburgh; his grandchildren, William (Stephanie), Christopher Amaro (Jamie), Michael Amaro (Jamie), Lauren Widmark (Christian), Daniel Gamma, Alyssa Geyer (Adam), Austin Wazewski and Rebecca Mandoske; and his great grandchildren, Jack Amaro, Mia Widmark and Giada Amaro.
