It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Thiel of Newburgh, New York, born in Highland, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Hencke and Velma Keller Hencke; and her siblings, Aaron Hencke, Jr. and Arlene Brown. She is survived by: her husband William Thiel; her children, William A. Thiel (Helen Greg), David W. Thiel and Dawn McGraw (Robert); her grandchildren, Jessica Thiel (Jesse Hildebrand), Justin McGraw, Jill Housekeeper, Aaron McGraw (Alexandra), William E. Thiel (Adrienne) and James McGraw; and her great grandchildren, Peyton Culhane, Justin McGraw, Jr., Link Hildebrand and Adrienne Thiel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Most Precious Blood Church.
