He was predeceased by: his parents, Albina Hines Epstein and Henry John Buhr; and his stepparents, Richard Epstein and Virginia Buhr. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Buhr (Bancone); his daughter Jennifer Buhr Galligan; his husband Glenn Galligan; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Ryan John Galligan; his sister Dana Epstein; and his nephew Max Epstein Lee.
