It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Sanowski (Newburgh, New York), born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on April 3, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William and Ada Sanowski (Biezup); his wife Eileen M. Sanowski; his children, Doreen Schreeck (Don), Patricia Schermerhorn, Eileen Bowman (John) and John B. Sanowski; and his grandchildren, Kathleen Wright, Thomas Schreeck, Christopher, Brian Schermerhorn, Michael, Peter, Mollie, Emily Bowman, Julia, Justin and Jonathan Sanowski. He was also cherished by 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in John's memory may be sent to St. Patrick's Soup Kitchen, 55 Grand St., Newburgh, NY 12550.
