It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Vacante (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on August 13, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Parrino and Angelina Parrino (Monteleone); her husband Giuseppe Vacante; and her siblings, Carmelo, Giuseppe Parrino, Vincenza Lauria and Rosina Lazzara.
She is survived by: her sons, Francis Vacante (Maria) of Newburgh and Joseph Vacante (Elizabeth) of Modena; her siblings, Sara Puzzillo of Newburgh, John Parrino (Margaret) of Newburgh and Angelina Citta of Newburgh; and her grandchildren, Gabriella, Adriana and Giovanni Vacante. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
