He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John J. Jr. O'Malley and Edith A. O'Malley (Johnston); his wife Paula O'Malley; his children, Amy and Michael; and his sister Kathleen O'Malley (Rashid H. Rashid) of Montgomery, NY.. He was also cherished by his wife, children, parents, and sister.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Michael's name can be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Rd., Walden, NY 12586.
