She is survived by: her mother Luz Aida Matta; her siblings, Jeanette (Henry) and Jose Ramon; her children, Giovanni, Shamila Luz and Jonathan; her grandchildren, Brenden Andrew, Giovanni, Mikayla, Addisyn, Tyler and Shailah Rose; her siblings' children, Jessica, Jocelyn, Jeanille, Jennifer, Jose Xavier and Joshua; her cousin Mayra; and her daughter Sasha Rodriguez.
In lieu of flowers, it was Rosa's wish that any memorial contributions be made in the form of a charitable donation to Bishop Dunn Memorial Middle School Scholarship Fund.
