Rosita Forti Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosita Forti (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Melendez and Maria Cruz Serrano Melendez; her husband Benjamin Forti; her son Wilson; and her siblings, Alejandra Badillo, Ulpiano Melendez, Isabella Aponte and Carmen.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Sanz (late Carlos) and Benjamin Forti Jr. (Delilah); her grandchildren, Benjamin Torres (Lori), Tiffany Pineiro (Luis), Benjamin Forti III (Serena), Vincent Forti and Adriana Forti; and her great grandchildren, Nicolas, Gavin Pineiro, Anthony, Aiven Romero and Lincoln Forti. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, step-family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for your kind donations to the American Lung Association, to help battle asthma, a disease Rosita suffered her entire life.
