She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Edward Devitt and Mary Maher Devitt; and her husband Terence V. Kennedy. She is survived by: her sons, David William Kennedy (Preya Krishna-Kennedy) of Albany and Matthew Devitt Kennedy (Nicoletta Ronsini) of Newburgh; and her grandchildren, Anna V. and Naya M. Kennedy. She is also survived by two nieces and 1 nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Newburgh Free Library, the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands or Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh.
