She was predeceased by: her parents, Mauricio Montalvo and Julia Abrego; her children, Mario Montalvo, Elsa and Nora Montalvo; and her siblings, Mauricio Montalvo, Armanda Montalvo, Doris Montalvo (Dora), Hilda Montalvo, Marta and Rosario Montalvo (Tia Chayo).

She is survived by: her sons, Raul Montalvo of Cornwall, Nelson Montalvo (Lourdes) of Cornwall and Carlos Montalvo (Michele) of Fishkill, NY; her grandchildren, Mario, Mailyn, Marilyn, Davian, Daviana, Delyvan, Drystan, Diana, Stephanie, Logan and Cayden; her great grandchildren, Yandel, Yadiel, Irelis, Nelson, Eliza, Karla, Aiden, Nathalia, Nyda and Catalynn; her brother Marco Antonio Montalvo (Noy) of El Salvador; her grandchildren, Leona and Kobe; and her sibling's children, Adda Montalvo, Patricia Montalvo, Sylvia Montalvo, Sonia Anderson (Will), William Recinos and Carlos Recinos (Joyce).
