He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Hewitt and Lena Hewitt (Laur); his spouse Lola McGee; and his brothers, Gerald Hewitt (late Rose), Richard Hewitt (late Lynn), Kenneth Hewitt (late Ruth), Donald Hewitt (late Betty) and Harold Hewitt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Baker (Peter), Linda Mikolajek (Greg), Marjorie Minor (Larry) and Bonnie Sands (Jim). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
