He is survived by: his children, Mark Gara (Cynthia), Susan Petrozzi (Russell) and John Gara (Suzie); his grandchildren, Rachael Goldenberg (Craig), John Marino (Lynda), Breanna Flatery (Sean), Peter Gara (Cheryl), Ben Gara, Anne Burgess (Kevin), Katherine Walker (Wesley), Rebecca Sole and Jeffrey Donohue (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Chase Goldenberg, Claire, Logan Marino, Nolan, Warren Gara, Joseph Burgess and Zayden Donohue; his sister Rose Muto (late Victor); and his sister-in-law Eleanor Rutkowski (late Matthew). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
