He was predeceased by: his parents, Efrim D. Laughlan and Beverly A. Laughlan (Parsons). He is survived by: his daughter Julie Pippard (Vincent); his granddaughters, Adeline and Ava Pippard; his siblings, Patricia Mooradian (late Kevin) and David Laughlan (Katy); and his friend Lawrence Grace. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial offering may be made to a charity of one's choice.
