He is survived by: his mother Mary Kovacs (MacDonald); his son Steven 'Steve Kovacs; his siblings, Susan Kania (John), Guy Kovacs (Patricia), Beth Bigley (Gary), Wendy Kovacs, Timothy Kovacs (Trudy) and Stephanie Scott (Jennifer); and his close friend Anthony Renda (Renee Thompson). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
