He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Furey and Geraldine L. Furey (Mann). He is survived by: his wife Linda Furey; his children, Ericka Brath (Michael), Sean Furey and Kelly (Michael); his grandchildren, Ryan, Corinne, Kiarra, Aidan, Rhiannon, Andrew, Peighton, Grace and Faith; and his siblings, William F. Furey (Nancy) and Eileen Furey (Shirley Boron). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
