He was predeceased by: his parents, Trenton L. Knack and Isabel D. Knack (Walker). He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie "Rosi" Krummlauf; his children, Lee L. Knack (Christa), David D. Knack (Denise) and Sandra D. Winstel (Christopher); his grandchildren, Destiney of David, II, Alexis, Trenton and Brock; and his cousin Cheri. He is also survived by other cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
