He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ed and Amy Smith, Sr. (Kelly); his grandchildren, Antonio Smith, Kenya Gilliam, Christina Griggs, D'shalen Hightower and Shakigh Jones; his great grandchildren, Shakeira Griggs Ausiana Purdy, Alayah, Khalil Smith, Juliana Whyte and Amiya Smith; his sisters, Minnie-Lee Union and Reatha-Mae Purifoy (Lisa Garrison); his children, Anthony J. Smith and Angela M. Smith; and his siblings, Ed-Lee Crittenden, Tommy Smith, Virginia Smith and Leroy Smith. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncle and cousins.
