He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Palmore and Viola Davis Palmore; his daughter Yvette Lillian Palmore Casey (Cornell); his brothers, Frank Palmore, Jr., Charles Palmore (Mary), Jerry Palmore, Sr. (Rose) and Bobby Palmore, Sr. (Mary); and his sister-in-law Eva Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Edith; his daughters, Renee Beaman (Silvester) and Jennifer Jones (Victor); his grandchildren, Asaiah Fisher (Gregory), Kori (Walter), Cierra and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Maliah, Gabrielle and Gregory Mason; his sisters, Clara Brundidge of Pensacola, FL and Doris Robinson (Charles); his siblings-in-law, Thomas Ashford (Margaret), Ossie Roberts (Jacqueline) and Lynnette Roberts; his adoptive children, Robert Bolton (GA) and Stephanie Cowart; his cousin Nelson Davis, Jr. (CA); his niece Cynthia Collins (FL); his nephews, Frank Feagin (CA) and Bobby Palmore, Jr. (FL); his close friends, Joe Waters and Rev. Joseph Jones; and his goddaughter Tiffany Jenkins. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
His failing health caused him to miss Sunday church worship, and despite the devastation of COVID-19, he was excited to listen each Sunday to Mt. Zion's Facebook Live worship services under the leadership of Rev. Timothy Brown, Sr. A COMMUNITY MAN In 1952, encouraged by his best friend Thomas Ashford, Eddie became a Mason at the Electric City Lodge #49 Prince Hall Masons.
