He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Coney and Lena Coney (Curcione); and his wife Louise Coney (Walker). He is survived by: his children, Joelle M. Coney (Leonard Previte), Angela L. Coney and Frank J Coney III; his grandchildren, Luisa Stahlman (David), Zachary Krebs (US Navy), Hunter C O'Donoghue, Robert Krebs, Jackson Krebs (US Navy) and Joseph Krebs; and his sister Sandy Basile (Coney). He is also survived by many aunties, uncles and loving cousins and friends.

They made the last eight months more bearable due to the pandemic visitation restrictions and went above and beyond all the time.
