With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Macneil (Niagara Falls, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on March 28, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Findlay MacNeil and Jean MacNeil; and his siblings, Norman MacNeil (Helena) and Janett Bennett (late Al). He is survived by: his spouse JoAnne Hermanson; his children, Paul MacNeil (Diane), David MacNeil (Jennifer Reed), Kathy Shaw (Joseph Goraj), James Barnes (Diane Roy), Laura Fantrazo, Michael MacNeil (Lisa) and Paul Barnes; his close friend Dave Zimmer (Tammy); and his pet Nevin. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
