Blantern (Welker); his siblings, Janet Ketterer (John), Ann Massingale (late Gary) and George Blantern (Debbie); his great-nephew Gered Welker; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Welker (Kathy) and Rita Welker (late Thomas); and his cousins, Linda Noble (Robert) and Sam Gulino (Karin). He is also survived by two nieces, nine nephews, four great nieces, a great nephew.
Memorials in Joseph's honor may be sent to Niagara Hospice or to the Alzheimer's Association.
