He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zornes and Mary [Bragg] Zornes; his wife Kathleen M. [Szalach] Zornes; and his brother William T. Zornes. He is survived by: his children, Jared M. Zornes, Kristina M. Tate (Joseph) and Jessica L. Zornes; his sister Sandra Jean Rotella; and his pets, Tonga and Rosco. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the American Cancer Society.
