She was predeceased by: her daughter Melanie Sue Hart; her parents, John Piper and Mellicent Piper (MacVittie); and her sister Judith Stoneham. She is survived by: her pet Monster; her son John R. Hart (Christina); her granddaughter Jamie Hart; her great grandchildren, Amaya and Nyla; her grandson Justin Hart (Stephanie); her great grandchild Jaxson; her son Don R. Hart, Jr.; her granddaughter Christine "Niki" Hart (Nick); her great grandchildren, Hailey and Knox; her daughter-in-law Laurie Shanabarger; and her friends, Nancy Jo, Ian, Janis, Candi and Brent. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
