He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wendell Hess and Alice Hess Keeton (McCully); his wife Martha Hess (Geschwender); his children, Dan Hess (Sherry), Douglas Hess (MaryAnn), Debra Hess Bagby (Chip), Jennifer Hess MacDonald (Tom) and Amy Hess; his siblings, Marvin, John and Raymond Hess; and his grandson Mark Dennis. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials, if desired may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Niagara Falls, 8210 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, New York 14304.
