He was predeceased by: his parents, Einer Newman and Vina Newman (Beck); his spouses, Mary F. Newman (Figler) and Marcia M. Newman (Leverentz); and his sister Dorothy.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Mastrangelo, Mary Lynn Marcolini (Robert), Nels A. Newman and Patty Jo LeGault (David); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Koresa, Nina, Tricia, Mary, Anna, Christy Jo, Jacob, Cloe, Michael and Calista. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Veterans Charity of one's choosing.
