She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Whipple and Laura Whipple (Hardy); her husband Michael D'Apollo; her daughter Maria Benedict; and her siblings, LeRoy, Dorothy, Harold, Robert and Kenny Whipple.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Alessi (late Giacomo) of Niagara Falls and Pamela Gillis (Raymond); her sisters, Alice Gilpatrick of North Dakota and Bernice Degenhart (Elmer) of Averill Park, NY; her grandchildren, Lydia Truesdell, Laura Gleason (Kyle), Nicholas D'Apollo and Alexandra Benedict; and her son-in-law Brian Benedict (Kathleen). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
