He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Hawes (Carr); his children, Terry R. Hawes, Deann L. Hawes (Kenneth Starr) and Stacey L. Hawes; his siblings, Judi E. Chapman (Scott) and Ronald A. Hawes (Deidre); his nephew Jared Chapman; and his close friend Charles Harmon. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and 3 cats.
