He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow W. and Annabelle Smeal, Sr. (Farr); his wife Edith "Edie" Brown; his son Eugene Smeal (Sandy Robillard); and his sister Joanne Robins (late Tom).
He is survived by: his children, Scott Smeal (Tammy Kazial), Karen Wheaton (Steve) and Leroy Smeal (Josey); his daughter-in-law Sandy Robillard (late Eugene Smeal); and his sister Gail Vaux (Jerry).
