She was predeceased by : her parents, Winfred Grinter and Eileen Grinter; her former life partner Merritt C. Willey; her daughter Muriel Callahan; and her siblings, Patricia McGovern, Betty Snyder and Ronald Grinter.

She is survived by : her son Merritt Willey (Tina) of Niskayuna; her grandchildren, Merritt Willey, Theresa Wolk (Jessica), Melissa Dimaina (Matt), Justin Callahan, Jeremy Callahan and Jonathan Callahan (Marjorie); and her sisters, Roberta Sargent and Brenda Sabo. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
