He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde P. Burgess and Lucia Coon Burgess; and his brother Richard F. Burgess. He is survived by : his wife Marlene Hannauer Burgess; his children, Eric C. Burgess, Jr. (Susan), Thomas M. Burgess (Celyn), Mary Eileen Mastapeter (Craig) and Peter L. Burgess (Mary); his grandchildren, Lindsay Ratcliffe, Heather Miller, John Mastapeter, Daniel Burgess, Matthew Burgess and Emily Burgess; and his sister Anne S. Burgess.
