It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred J. Smith (Norfolk, New York), who passed away on September 21, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret "Peg"; and his siblings, Lavern Smith, Oliver Smith, Woodrow Smith, Earl Smith, Marjorie Hough, Annabel Queor, Ruth Cole, Bernice Lavair, Joe Tyo, Marie Kohler, Helen Polin (Peter "Bud" Smith Jr. Born) and Peter M. (Alice White Smith Sr.).

He is survived by : his children, David Smith of Webster, NY, George (Nataliya Smith), Karen (Anthony "Mark" DeCare), Randy Smith of Gillett, PA, Sue Smith (Tammy) and Larry Villnave; his grandchildren, Travis, Chelsea Smith, Samantha, Matt Saxby, Greg, Sarah Smith, Robert, Mindi Smith, Kevin Smith, Sheila, Kevin Labier, Oleksandr, Polina Bashlachov, Benjamin, Sarrah Smith, Michelle Smith, Eric, Christine Sweet, Joella, Bernardo Amaro, Garrett and Patty Sweet; and his adoptive children, Louise Gardner, Merja Vikgren, Finland, Anna Kopecka' and Slovakia. He is also survived by his 19 great-grandchildren with another child.
