He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Everett Bond and Amelia Bond; his wife Barbara; his brother Wayne Bond (Twila); his children, Michael Hicks (Barbara Robbins), John Hicks and Terrie Taylor (Darren); his stepchildren, Gail Rookey (Terry), Duane Pierce (Kim), Sharon Pinkerton (Bob) and Gary Pierce (Camille Cristaldi); his grandchildren, Michael Morse, Martin Blair (Jill), Katie Ashley (Andrew), Kelly Lobdell (Jim) and Jessica Regan (Eric Sheldon); his former life partner Alma "Darlene" Bond; and his sister Cecelia Gang.
